BANDCAMP
For my senior capstone, I decided to rebrand the app and online music community, “Bandcamp.” Follow along my 11 week journey of finding out what identity this brand wants.
After experimenting with typefaces, colors, and patterns digitally, I was able to solidify the attitude this identity wants. I ripped and roughed up the paper by hand then scanned it to turn simple type treatments into a work of art in itself and spark compositional ideas.
Now that I had the look and feel established, I started applying it through icons, layout, and movement.

Having more applicable materials developed, I circled back to my initial goal: to create an experience. For the next few weeks, I expanded on the already existing functions to be ready for presentation. I used the established branding to create materials such as videos, posters, publication, and business cards. I further pushed the icons and text to work together to create a cohesive finish. Enjoy!
